The catalysis research group develops molecular- and materials-level understanding of heterogeneous catalytic processes relevant to energy conversion, sustainable chemicals, and materials transformation. Our work integrates synthesis, kinetics, spectroscopy, and first-principles modeling to establish structure–function relationships in oxide-, zeolite-, metal- and carbon-based catalysts.
